About the House

The Windmill House is located three blocks from downtown in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. This Craftsman style house was built in 1913 and sits on 3/4's of an acre.  The lot is adorned with beautiful plants and trees including a mature pecan, mules ear prickly pear, wisteria vine, pomegranate trees and much more.  Since the house is adjacent to Alpine Creek, dusk and dawn brings frequent sightings of mule deer and javelinas. The home was completely restored and updated in 2016. The interior is super clean and the decor is lovely and unique. A special room off of the dining area holds historical items found on the premises during renovation. Come see a perfectly preserved jar of canned snap peas from 1942!


*  Two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each and a queen size fold out couch in living room.  Linens and blankets provided for all beds.
*  One bathroom with a shower-tub.  Plenty of towels and a blow dryer.  Travel size soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided.
*  Kitchen has new appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher) and a coffee maker.
*  Satellite cable TV in living room and master suite.
*  WiFi
*  Coffee, tea and condiments available.
*  Iron and ironing board.
*  For guests staying a week or more, access to the washer and dryer in the basement will be granted.
*Central heating/air conditioning.
*Metered curb side 14-50r plugin for Tesla or other electric vehicles.  


Two night minimum.
Sunday-Thursday:  *$165 per night
Friday and Saturday:  *$180 per night
Weekly:  *$1100
*Plus a 6% hotel tax.
 Rate to use metered 14-50r plugin for electric
vehicles to be determined upon reservation.

Maximum Occupancy:  6
No Smoking in house.
Renters must sign an Occupancy Agreement to
